Besuch der Deutschen Fußball Liga (DFL) in Frankfurt | SPORTÖKONOMIE │ SPORTSOZIOLOGIE

Am 03.03.2023 besuchten Master- und Bachelorstudierende der JGU und Masterstudierenden der CBS gemeinsam mit den Doktorand*innen Kim Schu und Antonia Hannawacker die DFL in Frankfurt.

Dank der Organisation von Kim Schu hatten acht Studierende der JGU und der CBS die Möglichkeit hinter die Kulissen der Deutschen Fußballiga zu blicken.

Nach einer kurzen Vorstellungsrunde gaben Dominik Scholler (DFL Leiter Audiovisuelle Rechte International) und Tabea Wagner (DFL Managerin Live Products) den Studierenden mit ihrer hochinteressanten Präsentation einen äußerst informativen und intensiven Einblick in die Organisation der DFL, insbesondere in den Bereich Audiovisuelle Rechte.

Wie unterstützt die DFL finanzschwächeren Vereine? Was macht eigentlich die DFL in Bezug auf die Zukunft des Fußballs? Und warum werden die Spiele der 1. und 2. Bundesliga eigentlich an so viele verschiedene Sender verteilt? Diese und viele weitere Fragen der Studierenden wurden an diesem Vormittag beantwortet.

Am Ende des Besuchs wurden gemeinsam die Räumlichkeiten der DFL besichtigt und der aktuelle Praktikant im Bereich Audiovisuelle Rechte ausgefragt.

In lockerer Atmosphäre konnten die Studierenden all ihre Fragen stellen und mit Tabea und Dominik über aktuelle Themen rund um den Fußball diskutieren. Auch für das leibliche Wohl war bestens gesorgt.

Wir bedanken uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bei Tabea, Dominik und der gesamten DFL für die Gastfreundlichkeit, eure aufgebrachte Zeit und die tolle Möglichkeit euch in Frankfurt näher kennenlernen zu dürfen!

On 03.03.2023, Master's and Bachelor's students from JGU and Master's students from CBS visited the DFL in Frankfurt together with the doctoral students Kim Schu and Antonia Hannawacker.

Thanks to the organisation of Kim Schu, eight students from JGU and CBS had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the German Football League.

After a short round of introductions, Dominik Scholler (DFL Head of Audiovisual Rights International) and Tabea Wagner (DFL Manager Live Products) gave the students an extremely informative and intensive insight into the organisation of the DFL, especially in the area of audiovisual rights, with their highly interesting presentation.

How does the DFL support financially weaker clubs? What is the DFL actually doing with regard to the future of football? And why are the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga matches actually distributed to so many different broadcasters? These and many other questions of the students were answered during this morning.

At the end of the visit, they toured the DFL premises together and quizzed the current trainee in the Audiovisual Rights Department.

In a relaxed atmosphere, the students were able to ask all their questions and discuss current football topics with Tabea and Dominik. The food and drink were also well catered for.
