Am 07. März besuchte eine 12-köpfige Delegation der Abteilung Sportökonomie, -soziologie & -geschichte das 13. Innsbrucker Sportökonomie &- Management Symposium. Das Symposium ist seit über 10 Jahren eine Gemeinschaftsveranstaltung der Institute für Sportwissenschaft der Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck und der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz und fand wieder am traditionellen Ort, der Sportfakultät der Uni Innsbruck statt.
Ziel des Symposiums ist der Austausch aktueller Forschungsergebnisse auf internationaler Ebene. Das Symposium ist für alle Themen offen, die im weitesten Sinne zur Sportökonomie bzw. zum Sportmanagement gezählt werden können. Ausgerichtet wird das Symposium von Prof. Dr. Holger Preuß (JGU Mainz, GER) und Prof. Dr. Martin Schnitzer (LFU Innsbruck, AUT). Die Organisation übernehmen Cornelia Praxmarer-Kohli (LFU Innsbruck, AUT) und Dr. Norbert Schütte (JGU Mainz, GER).

On March 7, a 12-member delegation from the Department of Sports Economics, Sociology & History attended the 13th Innsbruck Sports Economics & Management Symposium. The symposium has been a joint event of the Institutes of Sports Science of the Leopold-Franzens-University Innsbruck and the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz for more than 10 years and took place again at the traditional venue, the Sports Faculty of the University of Innsbruck.
The aim of the symposium is the exchange of current research results on an international level. The symposium is open to all topics that can be categorized as sports economics or sports management in the broadest sense. The symposium will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Holger Preuß (JGU Mainz, GER) and Prof. Dr. Martin Schnitzer (LFU Innsbruck, AUT). Cornelia Praxmarer-Kohli (LFU Innsbruck, AUT) and Dr. Norbert Schütte (JGU Mainz, GER) are responsible for the organization.
