Vergangenen Dienstag, den 11.06.2024, fand wieder das jährliche Alumni-Event des Masterstudiengangs "Internationales Sportmanagement" auf den Beachvolleyball-Plätzen des Instituts für Sportwissenschaft statt. Dabei traten verschiedene Jahrgänge im Beachvolleyball gegeneinander an. Letztendlich konnte ein Team aus der aktuellen Kohorte (Jahrgang 10) die begehrte Trophäe mit nach Hause nehmen.
Insgesamt nahmen mehr als 40 Alumni aus den letzten zehn Jahrgängen am Turnier teil, das im Jeder-gegen-Jeden-Format ausgetragen wurde. Ein Team aus der jüngsten Kohorte gewann das Turnier und beeindruckte im Finale gegen das Team "Alumni" (Jahrgang 1-9) mit herausragenden Volleyballkünsten. Dritter wurde das Dozententeam, welches das Spiel um Platz 3 für sich entschied.
Bis zum Sonnenuntergang wurde gemeinsam gegrillt und es fand ein reger Austausch über Studium, Berufliches und Privates statt.
Wir danken allen Teilnehmer*innen für dieses großartige Event und freuen uns darauf, euch nächstes Jahr wieder am Sportinstitut begrüßen zu dürfen, um unser Alumni-Netzwerk weiter zu pflegen und auszubauen.

Last Tuesday, 11 June 2020, the annual alumni event of the Master's degree programme ‘International Sports Management’ took place again on the beach volleyball courts of the Institute of Sports Science. Different years competed against each other in beach volleyball. In the end, a team from the current cohort (year 10) took home the prestigious trophy.
In total, more than 40 alumni from the last ten cohorts took part in the tournament, which was played in a league format. A team from the newest cohort won the tournament and impressed in the final against the ‘Alumni’ team (years 1-9) with outstanding volleyball skills. The team of lecturers came third, winning the match for third place.
We enjoyed a barbecue together until sunset and had a lively chat about our studies, professional and private lives.
We would like to thank all participants for this great event and look forward to welcoming you back to the Institute of Sport next year to further foster and expand our alumni network.
